How to Claim

Claimants are entitled to make claims without a lawyer, but this can be risky, complicated and time consuming without the support of a qualified team to properly manage the process.

The Claims application form is complex and extensive and requires many lengthy narrative answers. The existence or absence of any one factor at any of the six levels of compensation does not dictate the level at which a claim will be decided. This means a careful approach to the answers given is important.

Claimants who qualify above level 2 compensation will undergo an interview with the Court-appointed Assessor without a lawyer present. Proper preparation for this interview will reduce the risk of disqualification and maximize optimum compensation.
